3-3; Catch-22
Chapter Thirty – Nine
Yossarian returns to
To be in a place after its bombed and to have your friend leave you to do illegal stuff. The horrible things that happened in the streets is horrible. And then to have a friend do that to a maid Ugh! This was a bad chapter.
Chapter Thirty – Eight
Yossarian is afraid someone it following him so he begins to walk backwards. He also refuses to fly any more missions. When he goes to inform Nately’s whore that Nately is dead she stabs him and her kid sister joins in. His superiors are worried about his defiance and say they will only send him on nonviolent missions. He refuses.
It would be horrible to feel so oppressed and lonely. And to be polite to a friends friend and have that friend stab you is horrible. They have some scary people.
Chapter Thirty – Seven
General Peckem is in charge of the squadron now. But Lieutenant General Scheisskopf is now the commanding officer of all combat operation. Lieutenant General Scheisskopf is in charge of General Peckem, but to the dismay of all, Scheisskopf, is making everyone march in parades.
I feel so sorry for the Squadron, to have to do so many missions and then to have to march in petty parades. Despicable. Very Short chapter.
2-3;Catch-22
Chapter Thirty – Six
The Chaplain is dragged by military men to prison because of unspecified crimes. Then they let him go till they decide the punishment. He then goes to the colonel to ask that the number of missions be lowered. But the colonel gives him a half answer. And that they have replaced others that would be sympathetic to what the Chaplain is saying.
These military commanders are no better than a two year old. Even my four year old brother would no when enough is enough. Instead they replace those with a conscious with those with an I.Q. of an infant, whose only thought is for their own gain and enjoyment. Pitiful.

Chapter Thirty – Five
Nately finishes his missions, but won’t go home till he can take his whore with him. Yossarian is mad because that would mean that the number of missions will be raised. So Yossarian tries to stop it. In the end Nately and Dobbs are killed and the mission numbers go up to eighty.
To have made the number and then to not go home, that is something I just can’t imagine. What’s worse to be killed on a mission you didn’t have to be on. That is a tragic situation.
