In May the war in Europe finally came to an end. The actual signing took place on May 7^th. Unbelievable numbers of Jews were slaughtered. Six million was the final count of how many Jews were killed during the war. Reuven went over to Danny’s house, not to study the Talmud but to talk about the Jewish destruction in Europe with Danny and his father.
